.Hack//G.U. Last Recode Now Gets a Physical Release in North America

It has been a month since the news broke out about us westerners getting .hack//G.U. Last Recode, a 15 year anniversary edition of the .hack//G.U. series from Bandai Namco Entertainment, and fans have been ecstatic about the remake’s impending arrival. North America (NA) has gotten word that they are getting a physical release, so now those gamers don’t have to import a European version.

Description:

.hack//G.U. Last Recode collects the three .hack//G.U. action-RPG titles; Rebirth, Reminisce, and Redemption with updated 1080p resolution, 16:9 widescreen picture, and 60fps frame rate, gameplay balance changes, and additional features to be announced at a later date making this collection the definitive .hack//G.U. experience for fans and newcomers alike.

Can NA or Europe get a special edition like the first volume, Rebirth, got? That would certainly be awesome for fans of the series. There is no word of any kind of a special edition or any pre-order extras yet, but fingers crossed.

.hack/G.U. Last Recode launches on PS4 and Steam later this year.
