Rumor: Dark Souls II in Development for Nintendo Switch

If new rumors are to be believed, Dark Souls 2 is already in development for Nintendo Switch.

According to insider LeakyPanda on Twitter, Bandai Namco is hard at work bringing Dark Souls II to the Nintendo Switch. The information LeakyPanda received comes from sources working at Bandai Namco. Those sources say that Dark Souls: Remastered for Nintendo Switch acted as a “springboard to maximize efficiency” in development for Dark Souls II for Switch. LeakyPanda also said that “no word” was given about a possible Dark Souls III port for Nintendo Switch, although Kotaku had previously said its sources said all three Dark Souls games will make it to Switch eventually.

LeakyPanda does have a good track record for providing this type of information. As is the case with pretty much all rumors, we’ll advise you to take it with a pinch of salt and eventually find out soon if the rumor is true. Until then, there’s plenty of Dark Souls coming.

Dark Souls: Remastered launches for Nintendo Switch on October 19th, and the Dark Souls Trilogy boxed set launches on PS4 and Xbox One on the same day.
