Persona 5 Western Release Date Announced

Finally the very long-awaited Persona 5 now has a western release date. Atlus have now confirmed the game will launch in North America on February 14th, 2017. That, of course, being Valentine’s Day. Will your loved one get you Persona 5 as a Valentine’s Day gift? Start making those hints now. Unfortunately, there has been no word on a release date for Europe, so be prepared to buy it off the PSN store in US or import the game from various sources.

Persona 5 was announced back in 2013 with a release date of 2014. The game got delayed and will launch first in Japan on September 15th, 2016, as well as being at this year’s E3.

The standard edition of the game will cost gamers $59.99 on PS4 or slighty cheaper at $49.99 for PS3, with pre-order bonuses such as a limited steel book edition at no extra cost. If you want to spend a bit more money, you can get the exclusive PS4 “Take Your Heart” collectors edition which comes with the game in the steel box case, a 64 page hardcover book full of beautiful Persona 5 artwork, a 4 inch plush toy, a full size Shujin Academy school bag, a collectible box, and finally the soundtrack CD. This will cost you $89.99.
