For Honor Will Be Free-to-Play This Weekend on PS4, Xbox One and PC

If you have yet to jump into the world of For Honor, this weekend may be as good a time as any as Ubisoft have announced that the title will be having a free-to-play weekend across all platforms. Starting this Thursday, August 10th, anyone can download For Honor on PS4, Xbox One or PC and get sucked right in to some good old fashioned hacking and slashing. If you’re planning on taking advantage of the free weekend, Ubisoft have even been kind enough to allow users on PS4 and PC the option of pre-loading the trial from August 8th, meaning that you’ll be able to dive right in come Thursday.

All content will be available to anyone taking advantage of the free weekend, with any progress and achievements being carried over to the main game should you opt to purchase either the Standard or Gold Edition of For Honor. Both editions will be on sale through the free weekend which begins on August 10th and runs until Sunday, August 13th. Two days after the trial ends, the Season 3 update will be released for For Honor which is set to be the game’s biggest update to date. The “Grudge & Glory” update will add two new heroes and new maps to the game, as well as a complete balance overhaul.
