Xbox One getting backwards compatibility November 12

Xbox One owners will be able to play over 100 Xbox 360 games via backwards compatibility from November 12 as part of the new Xbox One experience update which is heading to the console, Phil Spencer revealed during the Halo 5 launch livestream last night.

As well as receiving backwards compatibility, the update on November 12 will also introduce Windows 10 to the Xbox One through a UI overhaul. The new dashboard will improve speed and performance and will be much more suited to navigate using your Xbox One controller. Overall, Microsoft are aiming to make your gaming experience more fluid and quicker.
