Fallout 4 will run at 1080p and 30FPS on Xbox One and PS4

Fallout 4 will run at 1080p and 30 frames per second on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, Director Todd Howard has confirmed in an interview with Digital Spy. The news was later confirmed in a tweet from Bethesda which also revealed that Fallout 4 will have no restrictions with regards to resolution and frames per second.

Howard stated to that it will be “1080p on everything” and will run at 30FPS and not 60FPS as some console gamers may have hoped for. As for mod support, Fallout 4 will allow mods for PC and Xbox One, however Howard also hopes to bring mod support to Sony’s PlayStation 4.

When prompted about bringing mod support to the PS4, he stated, “We will be. Well, we’re going to make every effort to. If Sony says no, we won’t, but I don’t think they will.

“But, you know, it will come out on PC first. So early 2016, the creation mod for the PC, and then we’re going to make that work on the Xbox One, and then we’re going to do the PS4 version.”

Fallout 4 will release on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 10 worldwide.
